Does Working Hands® differ from Healthy Feet?
Healthy Feet uses the same science and is very similar to Working Hands but it is made with a special formulation to help penetrate the tough, thick surface skin of feet and heels. The idea behind having both products on the market was that many consumers don’t enjoy using the same product on their hands and feet, so Healthy Feet was created with similar ingredients and reformulated to be effective on thick, tough skin of the feet. Working Hands and Healthy Feet products do not contain: Any animal by-products, soy, or lanolin.
What is the difference between the original O’Keeffe’s jars and the tubes?
The two formulas are different because the jar formula physically cannot be put through a tube, so we had to make some tweaks to make that possible. However, the primary reasons that many consumers love the jar are still brought to life in the tube. It still contains a high level of glycerin, thus is extremely moisturizing and still unscented and not greasy. Both products are highly concentrated, so a little goes a long way. The biggest difference between the two products is the package.
Will the original O’Keeffe’s jar product still be offered?
Yes, we will continue to offer Working Hands and Healthy Feet in both the tube formulas and the original jar formulas.
How is O’Keeffe’s Lip Repair similar to Working Hands and Healthy Feet?
Like all O’Keeffe’s products, Lip Repair is guaranteed relief – specifically for extremely, dry, cracked lips. It is fast-absorbing, hypoallergenic, and long lasting.
+ Storage
Working Hands/Healthy Feet: Store the product in a cool, dry location. Remember to completely tighten the lid after use, so the cream does not dry out. There is no way to fix the cream if the product has dried out.
Lip Repair: Protect product from excessive heat. Best if stored at room temperature, between 68°F and 77°F (20°C and 25°C).
+ Shelf Life
O’Keeffe’s products have a shelf life of 3 years.
+ Application
Working Hands/Healthy Feet: For best results, apply a small dab (close to the size of a pea) as needed throughout the day. Apply after hand washing, after bathing and at bedtime as these are the most effective times for moisturizing extremely dry skin. Mild stinging of severely dry skin is normal, but discontinue if it persists. If recommended usage is followed, you should begin to see improvement in a week or so; however, we do hear from many customers who see results much sooner.
Lip Repair: For best results, apply to lips as needed throughout the day. Stop use if irritation occurs.
+ Removal
O’Keeffe’s products wash off skin with soap and warm water. If cream gets on fabric or other material, standard laundry detergent for clothing will work, or you can try spot cleaning.
+ Healthy & Safety
Working Hands and Healthy Feet creams can be used on other areas of the body as needed, such as arms, legs or chest. No specific testing has been conducted for product use during pregnancy, please consult your doctor if you have further questions. Non-toxic. If ingested in small quantities, it is unlikely to cause significant problems. If large amounts are ingested, minor GI upset including nausea, vomiting and diarrhea may result.
